Who we are
Lone Oak Studios is Dustin and Mandi Baker. Dustin started the studio in 2011 and still shoots every wedding himself. Mandi is his wife, his second photographer and, on a long wedding day, the calmest person in the room. Between them they have two sons and a house full of animals.
We photograph documentary style, which is a plain way of saying we would rather wait for something real than arrange something that looks good. No long shot lists, no marching your family through an hour of posing. We watch the day happen and we photograph it.
By the time your wedding comes around we would rather not feel like another vendor. The couples we work with tend to end up as friends who happened to invite us, and who happened to hand us the cameras.

Most couples book us twelve to eighteen months out. Portrait sessions can often be found a week or two ahead.
